Mixed-Use
Dar Al Hijra is a mega mixed-use project and a part of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision, the project comprises residential units, hotels and administrative buildings and is considered one of the most effective proposed development plans in terms of rehabilitating previously existing facilities that were demolished in the process of the Holy Nabawi Mosque expansions. The project encompasses ministry administrative offices for Hajj, Omra and tourism as well as luggage handling management facilities.
PACKAGE (2) CONSISTS OF:
The project will be executed in 3 phases, the first will be dedicated to infrastructure and landscape works, second phase covers administrative buildings, central Hajj and omra committee office in Madinah, the third covers residential towers.
EMDAD’s scope of work included site supervision for infrastructure works such as water networks for irrigation, fire-fighting, waste-water, storm drainage, grey water treatment, chiller plant water supply, roads networks works cover primary, secondary and tertiary roads as well as traffic signaling systems as well as landscape and light streetscaping works, electrical and communication system networks for the entire project.
The projects Architectural and engineering design was part of Dar Al-Handasah scope of work while infrastructure construction works was executed by Al Fouzan Trading and General Construction (FTCO).
