Primarily a residential development planned and designed to cater to the growing number of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. The project is located in Al Madinah, KSA, 3 Km away from the Holy Haram and spans a total plot area of 1,600,000m2 and comprises hotels, office buildings, underground parking spaces and utility buildings.
EMDAD’s scope of work included design review, shop drawings and site supervision for Infrastructure networks such as, fire-fighting networks with external fire hydrants, irrigation, storm water drainage, treated grey water supply, treated sewage effluent (TSE) solid waste management plant, grey water treatment plant, water supply to cooling towers, thermal energy storage tanks (TES), chilled water supply plants (CWS) and all electrical services and networks for the entire project.
Roads works cover primary, secondary and tertiary roads as well as traffic signaling systems, including civil works, hard and soft landscapes, fountains, streetscape works and signage to serve these areas.
