The King Faisal University housing project is located on a land plot of about 1,300,000m2 comprising 288 villas, with a unified built-up area, 3 levels each and 12m in height catering to over 24,000 students, 5 villas of a greater built-up area that serve as residential units for university principals and a villa for the university’s dean that is given a different and significant design.
The university compound provides other public amenities such as four (4) football fields, gym and a kid’s area for each 14 villas, the compound also includes water and landscape features.
EMDAD’s scope of work consists of design review, shop drawings and site supervision for all disciplines including architecture, structure, MEP and electromechanical networks such as potable water, fire-fighting, electrical and communication as well as water waste-water networks.
